{My Middle Sister is Graduated!}

I am so happy and proud to post these pictures of my beautiful sister, Marilee! I have to call her my 'middle sister', because she's not so little anymore. I thought I'd tell you a few funny stories about her, just so you can all see why she's so fun and spunky and why I love her to bits. 

A long time ago, when we were just kids, we were out riding horses in the ditches. Marilee was riding Duke, a very fat Fjord pony. Her saddle slipped, and she started to slide off. Our neighbour lady yelled at her, "Bail, bail!" But Marilee just hung on for dear life. Finally, she jumped off. We asked her why she didn't listen and jump off right away. Her answer-"I don't know what bail means. All I know is that Baal is an idol in the Bible, and I didn't know what that had to do with riding!"

Just recently, Marilee was telling us all how she is going to have such sweet, adorable little kids. Jacey's reply: "Won't you be surprised when they come out bald and ugly with one big tooth?" (That's brothers for you, eh?)

{Baby Gabriel}

I had the privilege of taking this cute little guy's photos. He is 2 months old, and cooperated SO well! I was a little nervous about the shoot, since I don't do older babies much, and didn't know how well he would sleep! But he was awake and smiled at me, and than napped at the end, so I got some great shots! (in my opinion:) ha!) It's so fun when they're a bit older, because they can make such great eye contact! 

Aireen, thanks for having my capture Gabriel at this age! I had so much fun, and loved all his smiles :)

...this was totally accidental. So funny, though! :) He was just waving and waving his arms around, so I wrapped him up a little to get some calmer shots, and I guess this is what he thought of that idea!

{Sneak Peak: My Sisters}

A couple weeks ago, I took both my sisters out with me to some flax, canola, and sanfoin fields. We got eaten alive by mosquitoes (this nurse forgot about mosquito spray-oops!) but had tons of fun, and the pictures are totally worth it! :) 

I am so thankful I have two sisters who love to do photo shoots and let me experiment on them! I am trying to learn so much more about photography, and was practising backlighting photography, so Marilee and Sheree put up with me changing my settings, trying to get it just right! I wouldn't be learning so much if it wasn't for them!

{Baby Araya}

Meet Araya! She is absolutely beautiful and cute and love-able! I posted lots of pictures, because I simply had such a hard time picking my favourites! It was so much fun taking her pictures, since her mommy is a good friend of mine, which made her extra special! :)
