{Eric & Amy: I Do!}

Meet Mr. and Mrs. Eric Van Driesten!

This was an extra special wedding for me, because I am friends with Amy, and Jono was in the bridal party! So needless to say, I was also pretty nervous, because I really didn't want to mess up on my friends wedding! And to make things even more nervewracking, the forecast was rain...and we really didn't have any inside back up locations. So I stressed about it (probably more than Amy even did!).

But everything turned out great! Jess (from 4thelove photography) second shot, and I was really glad to have her help! Amy's sister Mel also took some shots and added her own ideas. So I knew that between the 3 of us, we would get some pictures that Amy would love! It rained in the morning, but than the weather perked up and the sun came out, and it turned out to be a beautiful day! Both Eric & Amy were very happy and in love, and also photogenic (always a bonus!)

Enjoy the pictures of their beautiful day!

 I can't decide if I prefer this picture in colour or black and white....

 (P.S. Thank you Vera for borrowing me your awesome macro lens! It is now on my wish list! )

the rings!

Love grows deeper, stronger,
And more beautiful
When it is planted by God,
Kept in His Will,
Nourished by His Word
And warmed by the sunshine
Of His ever-abiding presence.
May you always walk together
In the happy ways of love
Trusting the grace of God
To lead you from above.

Eric & Amy, this is my prayer for you guys! Thanks again for letting me capture your special day!

I ♥ pinterest! I have heard photographers recommend that if you want to be creative, stay off pinterest. Well, I disagree. I have seen so many cool ideas on pinterest, and it has also inspired me (if you can call it that) to try different, cool ideas! I also have found some very informative and helpful photography sites, and am considering maybe taking another online photography course. Just thought I'd share this copy-cat idea with you all! :)

{My Family}

For my Opa & Oma's 45th Wedding Anniversary, I had to take all the individual family pictures, as well as the entire family, and than just us grandkids. Well, that could have been a bit tricky, seeing as I had to be in the pictures! But Auntie Jackie helped out, and I set my camera on a tripod, and it all worked out! Some of the kids weren't looking and sitting quite right, but who can blame them because there was nothing but a camera to look at. The white background is kind of boring, but it was windy and trying to find a spot out of the sun and wind would be tricky...and like Oma said, its about the people in the picture, not the background!

{Lisa: Maternity}

 Meet Lisa, Brayden, and baby Hailey to be! I love baby bumps, and always think that photographing a mommy-to-be is super special! Lisa, thanks for letting me snap a few and all the best with your new addition to the family! :)

{Guliker: Family}

Thanks to advice from a good friend, I got my technical difficulties sorted out and can now post pictures on my blog! Finally! :) I have a bit to catch up, so there should be a few posts coming up!

Here are a few more pictures of Johnny, Ruth, and Jorden! Since the pictures were taken a few months ago, I'm sure he's even bigger and cuter by now, and I hear he is walking :) Enjoy the pictures!
